Doug and I are meeting up in St Helens. I'm a couple of hundred yards away from him using a telephoto lens.

I've been waiting here in the shade for a few minutes.

What a beautiful day for a ride.

Adjusting to going in and out of the tree shadows was a bit tough at times.

Just have to stay focused and keep a keen eye out for deer and elk

I finally found some wildlife but he was inside the boundary so I couldn't shoot him.

Did I mention the beautiful day? How about the 69 degrees?

Doug knows I like Mexican food and brought to this nice restaurant on the water near Astoria

I am sometimes amazed at how authentic some of these restaurants are this far away from Mexico.

We thought about the outdoor seating, but the breeze was strong enough to cool our food faster than a microwave could reheat it.

Had we known, we would have only ordered one and split it down the middle.

Since we didn't, we only ate half of each and left the other half for the seagulls.
